About SVNIT Surat : The National Institute of Technology, Surat (NIT Surat), formally known as Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology or SVNIT, is an engineering institute of higher education established by the Parliament of India in 1961. It is one of 30 National Institutes of Technology in India recognized by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance. It is the Anchor Institute for the Auto and Engineering sector and will be training the workforce. Name of Posts: Junior Research Fellow for the SERB project at Applied Mathematics & Humanities Department
Educational Qualification: Having a first class in M.A./M.Sc in Sciences, MBA in Humanities, M.E./M.Tech in Engineering & Technology and in preceeding degrees. Preference will be given to Ph.D candidates in the relevant field.
Age Limit : 8 years as on 16.07.2018. (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/
Women/PWD candidates as per DST, Govt. of India norms.
Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- pm for 1st two years and Rs 28000/- pm for 3rd year + admisible HRA.
Selection Process : All the candidates will be selected on the basis of interview ..
